Using dynamic camera movement & typography to create a cohesive MoGraph project.
This project was an absolute blast from start to finish. In my work, I’m used to much more technical work, which often overshadows or stifles my creativity in projects. This project, however, provided ample opportunities to bridge that gap, a perfect blend of both. It allowed me to brush up on and improve my typography, animation principles, and camera movement.
I opted to re-create some of Spotify’s UI elements in some scenes. I animated these elements with a Delay expression, often seen in my rigging/character animation work inside of After Effects. Designing the UI and swiftly animating it with expressions was an enormous time saver, and it made it almost effortless to create a scrolling fade animation for the Spotify elements.

01 - SPOTIFY UI
Remake of the spotify UI that is used to control the current song playing.
Cascading animation made with and controlled by delay expressions.
Popular section recreated in After Effects using the delay expression.
When hooked up to a system of delays, adjusting certain master controllers, you can have a highly customizable animation through very little work.
Artist Discography UI re-created and animated using Delay expressions.
I wanted this one in particular to have more stagger in timing because the eye would read the albums from left to right instead of top down like previous elements.
